Introducing Ron Brown to OT Works!
We’re pleased to welcome Ron Brown to the OT Works team and are excited to have him join our growing practice.
Ron has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2011 and brings a wide range of experience supporting clients in different settings, including return-to-work programs, medical legal services, home health and nursing homes.
Before becoming an OT, Ron studied psychology research and cognitive science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This helped build his strong interest in supporting clients with cognitive and neurological challenges. He has experience working with individuals living with dementia, recovering from strokes and neurological injuries, and managing communication or cognitive difficulties.
Ron also has extensive experience supporting clients with musculoskeletal injuries, cardiovascular events, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. He is passionate about helping clients build practical strategies that improve daily life and support long-term recovery.
What drew Ron to occupational therapy was the opportunity to help people make meaningful changes in their lives. He believes that when life takes an unexpected turn, it can create space for reflection, growth, and positive change. Ron enjoys helping clients work through these challenges and move toward their goals with confidence.
Outside of work, Ron enjoys staying active at the gym, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, and spending time reading a good book.
Ron joined OT Works! in February 2026. He provides services to clients throughout the Metro Vancouver area.
He serves clients through WorkSafeBC, ICBC, private insurance, and self-pay. e is a registered member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
We are thrilled to have Ron join our team and look forward to the care, knowledge, and support he brings to our clients and community.
