Welcoming Ellen Ta to OT Works!
We are excited to welcome Ellen Ta to the OT Works! team.
Ellen joined us in February 2026 and brings a wealth of experience supporting clients across a variety of healthcare settings.
With five years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Ellen has worked in inpatient, acute care, and community-based environments. Throughout her career, she has developed effective communication skills and a client-centred, holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. She is committed to helping individuals achieve their goals and return to the meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life.
Ellen has experience supporting clients with a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries, recovery following cardiac events, cancer-related conditions, traumatic brain injuries, and mental health challenges. Her diverse clinical background allows her to provide thoughtful, individualized care tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, whether walking or jogging through local trails and neighbourhoods. She also loves experimenting in the kitchen and creating new recipes to share with family and friends.
Ellen is fluent in both English and Vietnamese. She provides services to clients throughout the Metro Vancouver area.
Ellen offers services through WorkSafeBC, ICBC, private insurance, and self-pay. She is a registered member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
