Simone Mann, BKin, MOT
Simone graduated from UBC with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and started practicing as kinesiologist in community health. She then pursued her master’s degree in occupational therapy where she gained experience working in various practice settings including acute mental health, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health. Simone has a strong interest area in physical dysfunction including musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries which has stemmed from her own athletic experiences. She recently completed additional training in chronic pain management, exposure therapy and brain injury rehabilitation to better support her clients. Simone brings a kind, supportive and respectful approach while utilizing innovative and evidence-based interventions based on the values and needs of each client.
Simone is otherwise an early bird and avid traveler. She enjoys spending time with her pets, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and playing sports.
I love being an OT because I help people become the best version of themselves. I find it very rewarding to watch people become more independent in their everyday lives and love celebrating all achievements, no matter how big or small.
