
Nufar Berko-Gabay, MOT, B.H.K.
Nufar enjoys collaborative work to support clients in their journey and goals. Nufar was a health coach prior to becoming an OT and specialized in supporting individuals with type 2 diabetes through meaningful change. Nufar is especially passionate about supporting individuals with mental health challenges and completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Through her experience in both public health and private community settings, Nufar worked with individuals experiencing chronic pain, mental health challenges (anxiety, depression) post cardiac event or cancer, concussion / traumatic brain injury and mixed diagnoses.
Nufar enjoys spending her time with friends, family and pets, you will find her either at the beach, at a market or exploring nature. Nufar used to live in Kelowna and that is also where she overcame her fear of heights, parasailing over Okanagan Lake!
