
Yasmine Mackie, BSc, MScOT
Yasmine is a practicing occupational therapist and is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) as well as the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist (CAOT). After completing her Master of Science in Neuroscience and developing a curiosity and interest in various areas of brain health and rehabilitation, she went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. Yasmine is passionate about supporting clients in their recovery through collaboration and engagement in meaningful activity. She has experience working with individuals with Musculoskeletal/orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain, mental health concerns (including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and PTSD), concussion/traumatic brain injury, and mixed diagnoses.
Yasmine lives with a sense of adventure and a passion for trying new things. This drew her to the profession of Occupational Therapy and its holistic approach of working with others to promote meaningful occupation and activities. Her current interests include stand up paddle boarding, cycling, skiing, yoga, reading, and cooking.
