Trent Sanders, BA, MOT
Trent graduated from Queen’s University, in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to completing his master’s degree, he worked as a kayak guide in British Columbia and Australia and as a Case Manager working with adults with developmental differences to find meaningful engagement with their community. Throughout his education, he sought out opportunities to expand his knowledge of working with clients during their mental health recoveries. He has a deep interest in the intersections of mental health and physical health, and finding unique ways to support clients to achieve participation in their preferred occupations.
In addition to his work as an occupational therapist, Trent remains involved in the outdoor recreation community in Vancouver. He occasionally will guide kayak tours in Deep Cove and volunteers with Power to Be, an organization that takes folks with barriers and disabilities out into nature.
